I don't think so ... I have seen many times in history where USD was very weak while SPX was falling.

I keep the short position because of the following reasons:
1. I bet that there won't be a V bottom - At least it should have a second leg down.
2. SPX is approaching 50% rebound (11/02 - 11/16) - A good resistance to bet.
